How do I advertise a green job posting?
On Job Bank, a green job is a position that contributes to environmental preservation, conservation, and restoration. Learn more about green jobs.
Your job posting will be labelled as a green job if you either:
- select a job title that is part of an occupation that includes jobs whose primary duties and responsibilities lead to positive environmental outcomes.
- select a job requirement that was identified as green by Job Bank at Step 5 of the job posting creation process.
In both cases, you will be asked to confirm that the position involves duties and responsibilities that contribute to positive environmental outcomes and helping achieve Canada’s net-zero target.
Your advertised job posting will be identified with a "Green job" indicator and the following message will appear on the job posting: The employer stated that this job includes tasks and responsibilities that contribute to positive environmental outcomes and helping Canada achieve its net-zero target.
