Why am I receiving an error message when I enter my confirmation code?
If you get an error message at Step 2 of the user account registration process stating that your confirmation code is incorrect, here are some possible solutions:
- Make sure to enter manually the exact numbers of the confirmation code sent to your inbox, without a space at the end. If you used the copy-paste function to enter the code, an extra hidden character could generate the error.
- Make sure to use the most recent code sent to you. You might not have entered the latest confirmation code sent to your inbox. If you had to restart the user account registration process the previous confirmation code sent would no longer be valid.
- Make sure the code you’re using is not expired. The code sent when you go through the steps of creating a user account expires after one hour. If you have not completed your user account registration within the hour, you must start over to receive a new code.
